My website is a work in progress. Please excuse that some of the information isn't yet complete. Hoping to finish in the near future! Contact me if you have any questions. Thank you!
I I’m a born and raised Michigander and have lived in St. Joseph for over 40 years. From early childhood I knew I wanted to be an artist and dabbled with various mediums before discovering the joy of watercolor over 25 years ago.
My painting style has an illustrative component with an emphasis on realism. I’m interested in a wide range of subjects, but especially nature and frogs! I work from photographs and attempt to capture the moment, the play of light and shadow, and the nuances of color. I especially like applying the finishing details of a painting! I have had several one woman exhibits and have been accepted into many juried art shows . I also teach watercolor workshops when time permits. I enjoy painting commissions of pets, home portraits, and a variety of other subjects. |
